Grand Union Canal

The Grand Union Canal, constructed in the late 18th century, linked London with the national network of canals and the industrial Midlands. Although unused for commerce, now, many colorful boats still float peacefully on the canals. Near Maida Vale, a basin was formed where the Grand Union Canal joined Regent's Canal and the area was named Little Venice.
