London Eye - The British Airways London Eye was constructed in 1999 and opened to the public in 2000. It stands an impressive 135 metres (450 feet) high and as such is the world’s tallest observation wheel. It is designed to carry 800 passengers in its 32 pods who will enjoy a spectacular and thrilling view of London stretching to about 25 miles on a clear day/night. The wheel takes about half an hour to complete one revolution.
