Marble Hill House

Marble Hill House is a beautiful Thames-side Palladian villa set in 66 acres of parkland. It was built between 1724–1729 for Henrietta Howard, Countess of Suffolk, who was the mistress of King George II.

The house contains an important collection of early Georgian furniture and paintings, and the Lazenby Bequest Chinoiserie collection. There is a display on the ground floor with an introductory film about the house, grounds, and the life and times of Henrietta Howard.
