Columbia Road Flower Market
Tucked away in a small street in the heart of London's East End, Columbia Road is a magical world of colourful plants and exotic flowers, with 52 plant stalls and 30 or so garden shops and cafes.
The Flower Market began its life in the 19th century as an informal mix of stalls selling all kinds of general produce, scattered along the full quarter mile of Columbia Road.
Today's tiny street flower market sells everything from seeds, to herbs, bedding plants, garden shrubs, houseplants and cut flowers as well as various garden accessories.
Open Sundays from 8am until 2pm.
