Shri Swaminarayan Mandir

The Hindu temple in Neasden is the first traditional temple of stone to be constructed in Europe.

Five thousand tonnes of Italian Carrara marble and the finest Bulgarian limestone were hand-carved into 26,300 pieces by 1,526 skilled craftsmen to create the masterpiece of exotic design and workmanship that rises above London's skyline and covers 1.5 acres.

There are five ornate shrines which house the sacred deities and are the focal point of the Mandir.

Opening Hours
The temple is open daily from 9am until 6pm. Viewing of Sacred Deities takes place from 9am until midday and from 4pm until 6pm daily.
